VEMSIS Project Highlights

Low-Code/No-Code System Integration Services

Systems Engineering & Integration

VA VEMSIS

The challenge:

Veterans Affairs’ Veterans Enterprise Modular and Systems Integration Services (VEMSIS) program is the premier Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) small business systems integration contract offering development, operations, user support, data management, data engineering, and full end to end lifecycle management across a broad range of LCNC SaaS and PaaS platforms.  This includes DevSecOps support of solutions built on Salesforce, Microsoft D365 and PowerPlatform, Pega, Appian, Box, ServiceNow, and other LCNC commercial offerings.  VEMSIS has focus on configuration of modular component design, but also includes custom development, simple and complex integrations, custom API development, and any related technology implementations including applied AI, chatbots, robotic process automation, digital process automation, business process re-engineering, and natural languate processing solutions.

VEMSIS is about small projects delivering BIG WINS:

The following provides highlights about our ongoing delivery on VEMSIS.  We touch everthing from Veteran sports and outreach programs, to behind the scenes governance and decision support systems, to clinical support, advanced AI pilot proof of concept projects, and case management systems.  This represents the leading edge of VA’s LCNC development and delivery methods which are pioneering new approaches to DevSecOps, automated testing, AI enabled technologies, automated and continuous ATO management, and automated source code management and deployment tools implementations.  Under the VA’s Digital Transformation Center (DTC), we help to shape implementation patterns being adopted across the entire federal space in regards to User Experience, DevSecOps automation, and business workflow automation.

The results:

Check out each project vignette to learn more about the great things we have done to impact the lives of Veterans, their families, and care givers.  Some projects are short term with immediate and measurable results to Veterans, while others represent longer term implementations of VA initiatives to improve enterprise level systems, interoperability, efficient management of IT investments through LCNC legacy app modernizations, and adoption of reusable software components and design patterns.
