Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (CMS SPARC)

CMS SPARC is a Multi-Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract vehicle to acquire services for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other Department of Health and Human Services Operating Divisions (HHS OPDIVs).  The task orders issued under the SPARC IDIQ Contract covers discrete life-cycle tasking within a system or application development program, inter-relates with other task orders under the same program, and has defined exit criteria for successful completion. 

This contract provides strategic, technical, and program management advice, guidance, and support services to CMS to facilitate the modernization of business processes and supporting systems and their operations. These systems include the Federal Healthcare Exchange and Medicare/Medicaid information technology systems.  The service categories for information technology professional services under the SPARC IDIQ Contract include Initiation, Concept, and Planning Services, Requirements Services, Design Services, Development Services, Testing Services, Security Control Assessment (SCA) Services, Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Services, Maintenance Services, Support Services, Data Request Services and Help Desk Services.
